<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man conveyor inspection device accurately providing laps by detecting the reverse of footsteps without being affected by deterioration with age or vibration due to wearing. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of the footsteps of an escalator 1 being a man conveyer is used as an inspection footstep 2a, and an angle speed sensor 35 is provided in the direction allowing the reverse of the inspection footstep 2a to be detected. An escalator inspection device 30 includes: a storing part 36 stored with a first set value for detecting the operation direction of the escalator 1 from an output signal of the angle speed sensor 35 and a second set value for detecting the reverse of the inspection footstep; and a reverse detection part 37 detecting the operation direction of the escalator 1 from the times of an output signal of the angular velocity sensor 35 coinciding with the first set value within a certain time, and setting the second set value to a plus value or a minus value according to the operation direction and outputting the reverse detection signal by detecting the reverse of the inspection footstep 2a from the comparison with the output signal of the angle speed sensor 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
