This device for controlling a hybrid vehicle having a motor and an engine is provided with: an engine starting condition detection means that detects engine starting conditions; and a motor control means that controls the driving of the motor on the basis of a motor torque command value. The motor control means adds a command for eliminating a frequency component of vehicle vibration to the motor torque command value when driving the motor for starting the engine on the basis of the result of detecting engine starting conditions. |
