<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort a sheet to be discharged, without depending on a mechanism changing the discharge position of the sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet 11 is discharged onto a tray 15 which is determined that a set value is different between a print job executed just before (a final job in which the sheet 11 is finally discharged onto the tray 15) and a target job, so that a user can recognize the sheet 11 after being printed based on the difference of the set value between both print jobs.
