<p>A locating apparatus for locating a sheet (4) of material relative to an impression cylinder (10) of a sheet processing apparatus (2) is disclosed. The locating apparatus comprises frontlay devices (16) for engaging the to resist movement of the sheet relative to the impression cylinder in a direction of feeding of the sheet, and a sidelay assembly (20) for engaging the sheet to resist a component of movement of the sheet, relative to the impression cylinder, in a direction transverse to the feeding direction, such that the sidelay assembly has a substantially zero component of movement relative to the sheet in the feeding direction when engaging the sheet.</p> |
