<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size and cost by reducing the number of conveying path changing nuit provided in a branch part of a conveying path. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet conveying device has a conveyance controller which once stops the conveyance of a sheet P1, and controls a conveyor so that a front end of the sheet P1 in the sheet conveying direction after the stop stands still in a vicinity of a fore end of a conveying path changing unit 29. The front end side of the sheet P1 is pressed by a fore end of the conveying path changing unit 29 while the front end of the sheet P1 stands still in a vicinity of the fore end of the conveying path changing unit 29, and the front end of the sheet P1 is directed to an entrance of the specified conveying path E out of the branched conveying paths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
