<p>The invention relates to optical glass and optical element. The invention provides the optical glass having a fractive index (nd) and an Abbe number in an expected ranged and having high devitrification resisting performance. The optical glass includes 1.0 to 30.0 percents of B2O3, 10.0 to 50.0 percents of La2O3, and lower than 20.0 percents of Ta2O5, by mass, relatively to a total glass mass after oxide conversion. The optical glass has the refractive index higher than 1.80, and the e number higher than 35 and lower than 50. The optical element takes the optical glass as a base material.</p> |
