The present invention provides a strip guide apparatus with an improved structure to absorb impact generated on a side guide by a diagonal travel of a strip. According to an aspect of the present invention, the strip guide apparatus comprises: a pair of side guides installed in both sides on an inlet of a rolling mill to roll the strip and to guide an entry of the strip; and an impact absorbing unit supporting the side guide and absorbing the impact transmitted from the strip by moving the side guide backwards, enabling the side guide to elastically return when the strip is in contact with the side guide. |
