A secondary battery is disclosed. The disclosed secondary battery comprises: a case; an electrode assembly which is accommodated inside the case, and includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; a first and a second terminal part electrically connected to the electrode assembly; and a cap plate covering an upper end of the case. The first terminal part includes: a first electrode terminal exposed to one upper portion of the cap plate through the cap plate; and a first current collector of which one end is connected to the first electrode terminal, and the other end is connected to the first electrode plate. In addition, a plurality of notch parts are formed in the first current collector. According to the present invention, the reliability and safety from an external impact can be ensured. |
