<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for highly efficiently moving only solute molecules in a two-dimensional or three-dimensional arbitrary direction in a resting solution without using an electric method or a light pressure, regarding non-contact moving means of the solute molecules in a liquid phase. <P>SOLUTION: By forming a fine temperature distribution two-dimensionally or three-dimensionally in a liquid and moving the temperature distribution at the almost same speed as a molecular flow speed by a Soret effect, a high concentration area by the Soret effect is highly efficiently formed.
