<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair welding method for electro-slag welding which can apply repair welding with ease and improve quality of a repair welded part. <P>SOLUTION: The repair welding method for electro-slag welding includes performing a substantial welding process which applies electro-slag welding in a vertical position along a groove 3 extending vertically between materials 1, 2, and then subjecting a weld defect portion 6 generated during the substantial welding process to repair welding. The method also includes: defect drilling process for drilling out the weld defect portion by opening a through-hole 10 in the thickness direction of the mother material; mother material posture changing process for changing the posture of the mother material before or after the execution of the defect drilling process by laying down the mother material and changing the posture of the mother material so that the extending direction of the weld bead 4 becomes horizontal while the passing direction of the through-hole becomes vertical; and repair welding process for performing electro-slag welding in the vertical position to the through-hole which is positioned vertical by laying down the mother material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
