<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress that ground color correction makes a low density cutout region difficult to view. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device executes a region presence/absence determination process for determining whether or not an original document image has a low density cutout region that is a region cut out with an image density lower than a density of a background color, on the basis of readout data, and a correction switching process for performing ground color correction depending on a ground color density of the original document image to the readout data in the case that it is determined that there is no low density cutout region, and not performing the ground color correction at least to the readout data of the low density cutout region and its background region in the case that it is determined that there is the low density cutout region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
