The device (10) has a separator (12) provided for liquid fluids such as oil or water, and having a cylindrical housing. A housing cover (16) and a housing base are provided at front sides, and a separation channel is provided at inner sides of the housing. The separation channel runs as bend in a peripheral direction of the housing and has an inlet for air to be cleaned and a fluid outlet for a separating fluid and a pure air-outlet (51) for a cleaned air. The separation channel has an air guiding ramp downstream to the fluid outlet for guiding the pure air to the pure air-outlet.
