The pump has a rotor disk (30) comprising a material, which incorporates a metal e.g. aluminum, and a nanoparticle, of carbon nano-small tubes. A rotor element is rotatably supported opposite to a stator, where the material is specified between 0.5-10 wt.%, preferably between 1-9 wt.% and the nanoparticle is specified between 2-4 wt. %. The carbon nano-small tubes comprise a scroll structure that is provided with multiple rolled up graphite layers, where powdery composite material is obtained by a mechanical alloy of a metallic powder. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a vacuum pump. |
