Disclosed is a method for subscribing a short-term insurance product and an apparatus thereof. An insurance subscription server receives a bar code information from a mobile terminal of a customer of which a bar code is recognized; searches for a short-term insurance product corresponding to the bar code information and transfers the same to a mobile terminal; figures out an insured person of the short-term product through a payment process of the short-term insurance product when receiving an insurance subscription request from the mobile terminal and completes an insurance subscription. |
