The present invention relates to an information providing system and a method for the same. The present invention is configured to enable a plurality of terminals to exchange own application programs with each other through a web server embedded in each of the terminals and to use the same. The information providing system according to embodiments of the present invention comprises: a first web server and a first control unit included in a telematics terminal installed in a vehicle; and a second web server and a second control unit included in a mobile terminal. The first control unit requests a first application program, which corresponds to a first user request, from the second web server, and receives the first application program from the second web server and executes the same. The second control unit requests a second application program, which corresponds to a second user terminal, from the first web server, and receives the second application program from the first web server and executes the same. |
