The present invention relates to a method of preparing a cream for cutaneous application, comprising a cream base consisting of an aqueous phase and an oily phase, the method comprising the steps of:
- Selecting a variety of iron oxide pigments.
- Dispersing the selected iron oxide pigments.
- Mixing the iron oxide pigments with cellulose in the aqueous phase until obtaining a homogenous mixture.
- Mixing vegetable oil and hydrogenated lecithin-coated titanium oxide particles in the oily phase.
- Emulsifying the aqueous phase with the oily phase, leaving to stand at room temperature.
