<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both application of a whirling component in a low velocity region and decrease in ventilation resistance in middle and high velocity regions for intake air flowing into a compressor of a turbo supercharger. <P>SOLUTION: A tapered intake pipe 10 having an inner peripheral surface gradually decreasing in diameter toward a downstream side is provided on an upstream side of the compressor for supercharging the intake air. An intake guide unit 20 including a guide vane 23 for applying the whirling component to the intake air is provided to be movable in a longitudinal direction L0 of a passage in the tapered intake pipe 10. The intake guide unit 20 is placed on the downstream side by an actuator 25 in the low velocity region, thereby reducing a clearance ΔD2 between an inner periphery of the tapered intake pipe 10 and an outer periphery of an outer cylinder of the intake guide unit 20 so as to reinforce the whirling component. The intake guide unit 20 is placed on the upstream side in the middle and high velocity regions, thereby increasing a clearance ΔD1 so as to reduce the ventilation resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
