<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-piece ceramic board of which an insulation layer can be a reflection layer of light, and which is easy to divide into individual ceramic substrates, and further to provide the individual ceramic substrates. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-piece ceramic board 9 includes: a mother board 1 having a plurality of substrate regions 2; and a division groove 3 provided along boundaries of the substrate regions 2 on a top face of the mother board 1. The mother board 1 is formed by alternately laminating insulation layers 1a of a first ceramic sintered compact, and constraint layers 1b of a second ceramic sintered compact having a crystallization temperature lower than that of the first ceramic sintered compact such that the uppermost layer is the insulation layer 1a. A belt-like constraint layer 4 of the second ceramic sintered compact is attached along the division groove 3 on the top face of the mother board 1. Deformation of the division groove 3 is suppressed by suppressing contraction of the insulation layer 1a in a part where the division groove 3 is formed by the belt-like constraint layer 4.
