<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct sounding times of all sounds to optimum positions when performing quantization about musical performance data in which sounds of long sound length and sounds of short sound length are intermingled. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU calculates a sound length of each sound indicated by musical performance data DM. As for events EV<SB POS="POST">ON</SB>directing sounding of sounds of a quarter note or more, the CPU corrects an execution time so as to agree with each of points P<SB POS="POST">L</SB>-n(n=1,2...) separated from each other by an interval TQ<SB POS="POST">N8</SB>of an eighth note on a temporal axis. As for events EV<SB POS="POST">ON</SB>directing sounding of sounds of an eighth note or more and less than a quarter note, the CPU corrects the execution time so as to agree with each of points separated from each other by an interval of a 16th note on the temporal axis. As for events EV<SB POS="POST">ON</SB>directing sounding of sounds of less than an eighth note, the CPU corrects the execution time so as to agree with each of points separated from each other by an interval of a 32nd note on the temporal axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
