<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect bidirectional displacement of an opening/closing body only on one side of the opening/closing body in its width direction. <P>SOLUTION: An opening/closing device is provided that includes an opening/closing body 10 making a closing movement so as to partition space, in which, when the opening/closing body 10 is partially or entirely displaced to one side in its width direction, the displaced portion is detected by a displacement detection unit 40 located on the one side. The opening/closing device includes opposite-direction movement means 50 for moving a detection object 52 to the one side when the opening/closing body 10 is partially or entirely moved in a direction opposite to the one side.
