<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for multiple analyses carrying an analytical sample and performing a spectroscopic analysis and a mass spectrometric analysis of a target substance in the analytical sample. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate for multiple analyses includes: a conductive transparent substrate surface-treated by a first water-soluble molecule; a metal nanorod complex that is covered with a second water-soluble molecule having an interaction necessary for binding with the first water-soluble molecule and fixed onto the conductive transparent substrate by the interaction between the first water-soluble molecule and the second water-soluble molecule; and a surface modifier that is retained by the metal nanorod complex and accelerates ionization of the target substance.
