<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably suppress the adhesion of molten foreign matter such as dross to a glass plate that becomes a product when a glass plate is fused and devided by heat of laser beam irradiation. <P>SOLUTION: A glass plate cutting device 1 is provided which irradiates a cutting section C of a glass substrate G with a laser beam LB, and fuses and divides the glass substrate G into a product part Ga and a non-product part Gb along the cutting section C as a boundary. The device includes: a first gas jetting nozzle 4 which is disposed at a position above the side that becomes the product part Ga and jets a first assist gas A1 obliquely downward toward the cutting section C, in a space above the glass substrate G; and a first suction nozzle 5 which is disposed at a position above the side that becomes the non-product part Gb and sucks molten foreign matter. The device further includes; a second gas jetting nozzle 6 which is disposed at a position below the side that becomes the product part Ga and jets a second assist gas A2 obliquely upward toward the cutting section C, in a space below the glass substrate G; and a second suction nozzle 7 which is disposed at a position below the side that becomes the non-product part Gb and sucks molten foreign matter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
