<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber separation method for separating polymeric natural fibers and synthetic fibers, that are undecomposed from blended fibers, by a simple method without using a chemical agent, such as an acid or an alkali, nor a large amount of energy. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber separation method for separating specific fibers from the blended fibers containing at least two kinds of fibers includes performing an extraction step charging the blended fibers to an ionic liquid that dissolves the specific fiber to extract the specific fibers contained in the blended fiber to the ionic liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
