The present invention relates to a lens for a light emitting device package used for display and lighting, and a backlight unit. The lens may include a lens body which has a light entering part formed on a lower surface, a light exiting part formed on an upper surface, and a concave part in the center part of the upper surface; and an internal cavity part which has an empty space sealed between the light entering part of the lens body and the light exiting part to induce at least part of incident light through the light entering part to a lateral direction. |
