The present invention relates to a novel pharmaceutical composition capable of inhibiting the replication of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) by increasing the expression of hairy and enhancer of split-1 (Hes1), hairy and enhancer of split-5 (Hes5), hairy/enhancer-of-split related to YRPW motif protein 1 (Hey1), and hairy/enhancer-of-split related to YRPW motif protein 2 (Hey2) as well as an HCMV infection disease treatment method using the same and uses thereof. The novel composition of the present invention has an excellent inhibition effect on the replication of HCMV, provides new targets and therapeutic agents for preventing and treating various HCMV-related diseases due to HCMV infection, and is used to treat the diseases due to the HCMV infection. |
