The present invention relates to a word input brain-computer interface and a word input method using a p300 brain-evoked potential and, more specifically, to a word input brain-computer interface system using a p300 brain-evoked potential, which inputs a character only by thinking of a person using a p300 brain-evoked potential in a computer or a tablet PC, and a word input method using a p300 brain-evoked potential. The present invention can allow to rapidly input a whole-word to a computer or a tablet PC by measuring a p300 brain-evoked potential using an apparatus for measuring a brain wave (EEG), and rapidly type a sentence only by thinking based on the inputting, thereby controlling a computer only by thinking without using an input device such as a keyboard or a mouse of a user, for example, inputting an Internet search word. |
