The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal according to the present invention comprises: a display unit; and a control unit which displays a first video in the display unit, and collects device setting information containing video capture information including capture points, and device setting information including image and sound setting of a terminal when playing the video to generate a file. Therefore, the video capture information containing the capture points when capturing the video, and the device setting information when playing the video are stored together to be applied at the time of next playback, and the captured video can be shared with other users. |
