摘要 The present invention relates to a composition for enhancing chemokine-suppressing gene ATF3 induced by endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in cancer cells, containing apigenin as an active ingredient. As evaluation results of the inhibitory activity on ER stress-mediated inflammatory signals of apigenin, which is a potential enhancer of ATF3 in cancer cells in the intestines, apigenin is selected as an ATF3-specific potentiator. The apigenin potentially enhances ATF3 induced by the ER stress, and thus is confirmed for the function of inhibiting tumor cytokine inflammatory signals in a particular manner (NF-KB non-dependent).
