The present invention relates to a method for producing a bio aromatic compound using glycerol and, more specifically, to a method for producing a bio aromatic compound, with respect to conversion of the glycerol into the aromatic compound, which is capable of increasing a yield of an aromatic compound and enhancing stability of a catalyst by overcoming high viscosity of the glycerol and improving rapid inactivation of the catalyst using primary alcohol, secondary alcohol, or a mixture thereof as a mixed medium. In addition, the method for the bio aromatic compound in accordance with the present invention uses a zeolite-based catalyst, a kind of solid acid catalyst, and suggests the optimum reaction condition, thereby making the glycerol, which is generated as a by-product from a bio diesel production process, into a high value product and increasing economic efficiency of the process. |
