The present invention relates to a method for predicting a laminar yield for cross laminated timber. The method includes the following steps: (a) calculating a laminar yield of a first region (R_1) including the top diameter of target timber; (b) calculating a laminar yield of a second region (R_2) in which laminar formulation is possible in the target timber except for the first region; and (c) calculating a laminar yield of the whole of the target timber from the laminar yields of the first region and the second region.
