PURPOSE:To economically produce a cord component member of a marine working platform, by a method wherein a width of a material steel plate is matched to a length of a circular arc of a half cylinder, a part ranging between grasping margins at the opposite ends in the direction of the width is bent in a circular arc, and the grasping margins are left in a linear manner. CONSTITUTION:A width of a material steel plate 6 is matched to a length L of a circular arc, a part ranging between grasping margins l at opposite ends in the direction of the width is bent in a given circular arc, and the grasping margins are left in a linear manner to form a half cylindrical member. A rack 4 is positioned between the nip formed by a pair of the half cylindrical members, and with this they are welded together to form a cord 3 serving as a member for elevating legs of a marine working platform. |
