The present invention relates to a side protection device for an offshore structure, capable of efficiently absorbing an impact load when colliding with an outer object such as a vessel and the like and reducing manufacturing costs by simplifying a designed structure. According to the present invention, the side protection device for the offshore structure includes: an arch-shaped protector installed on the side of the offshore structure at intervals; and a support member supporting the arch-shaped protector and fixing the arch-shaped protector to the offshore structure. The arch-shaped protector comprises multiple horizontal rods and multiple vertical rods. The horizontal rods are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction. The vertical rods are arranged at intervals in the horizontal direction and are across the horizontal rods. The center of the each horizontal rod has an arch form of a streamlined shape protruding to the outside of the side of the offshore structure. The each vertical rod connected by crossing the each horizontal rod is formed in a straight line shape. |
