The present invention relates to a mold for manufacturing a contact lens. The mold for manufacturing a contact lens comprises: a concave portion (111) formed in a hemispherical shape which is convex in a downward direction so as to accommodate contact lens forming liquid therein; a lower mold (110) formed of an edge portion (112) which is formed in a ring shape on the edge of the concave portion (111); and an upper mold (120) combined with the lower mold (110), having a cylindrical shape, and having a lower portion formed in a hemispherical shape which is convex in a downward direction in order to form an internal surface of the contact lens. The outer circumference of the upper mold (120) of the mold (100) for manufacturing content lens is formed with a conical shaped-fitting stepped portion (121) whose diameter becomes smaller while progressing toward the lower portion. The fitting stepped portion (121) comes into contact with the inner circumference of the edge portion (112) of the lower mold (110). When a contact lens is manufactured by using the mold of the present invention, the upper and lower molds are exactly combined with each other to manufacture a fine contact lens, thus the quality and reliability are improved. In addition, the contact lens can be manufactured in large quantity, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and improving productivity. |
