[Class 44.] A holder for sliding windows comprises a clamp which is fitted in recesses in a rigid outer channel and grips a flexible lining 4 of fabric-covered rubber. As shown in Fig. 1 the clamp comprises two jaws 14 operated by a right - and - left - handed screw 7. Alternatively the clamp may be formed of one screw-operated jaw and one side of the outer channel. |
