The present invention relates to a system and method for providing motion emoticon. The system of the present invention is configured to display a caller and a receiver after a plurality of motion emoticons having a predetermined story are played. The system for providing motion emoticon comprises: a caller terminal device mounted with an application for supporting a chatting mode based on the motion emoticon, and transferring a motion emoticon request information coupled with the receiver information to a selected motion emoticon, when the motion emoticon and receiver information are selected according to an operation of the caller while the chatting mode is activated through the application for supporting the chatting mode based on the motion emoticon; and an MNS server for providing the application for supporting the chatting mode based on the motion emoticon, and receiving the motion emoticon request information to play the motion emoticon including caller information and the receiver information in the chatting mode. Therefore, the system of the present invention allows all users who are participating in chatting to easily understand who wants to talk to someone about something, thereby arousing interest of the user in the chatting. |
