The present invention relates to a heat exchanger and, more specifically, to a fin tube heat exchanger which exchanges heat between air and a heat exchanging medium. The fin tube heat exchanger according to the present invention comprises: a tube having at least one fluid passage formed in a longitudinal direction, through which a first working fluid circulates and passes; a fin having a collar tightly fixed to the tube; and a shrink ring which presses the collar by residual stress to maintain a condition in which the collar is tightly fixed to the tube, and is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape. Also, the collar may comprise at least one cut slit formed on an end thereof. The cut slit facilitates elastic deformation of the end of the collar by an external force acting towards a center in a radial direction from the end of the collar. The heat exchanger according to the present invention tightly presses the collar and the tube against each other by shrinking of the shrink ring and maintains the condition in which the collar and the tube are tightly pressed against each other by thermal stress remaining in the shrink ring. Therefore, the heat exchanger prevents a case where the collar of the fin and the tube are imperfectly pressed against each other by a tube expansion defect or a case where the collar of the fin and the tube are separated by a difference in thermal expansion coefficient or a change in thermal expansion coefficient. Therefore, the heat exchanger has excellent heat transfer performance. |
