摘要 According to the present invention, an external resonator type wavelength conversion laser module includes an external resonator light source generating broadband light; a light waveguide, into which the broadband light is inputted from the light source; a brag grid formed in the light waveguide; a heater placed in an upper part of the light waveguide, and controlling a reflection band of the brag grid through a thermo-optic effect; a direction change waveguide area for changing a direction of an optical signal, obtained by controlling the reflection band, at a predetermined angle; a 45 angle reflecting part transmitting part of the optical signal, coming out of the light waveguide after the change of the direction by the direction change waveguide area, and vertically reflecting the rest of the signal; and a lens making the optical signal, vertically reflected by the 45 angle reflecting part, become parallel light or convergence light. According to the present invention, since the light waveguide with the brag grid is designed to change a progress direction of the optical signal, the volume of the laser module is reduced, and therefore, standardized small TO-CAN packaging is possible and costs are reduced.
