The present invention relates to an electric vacuum pump for a vehicle. The electric vacuum pump for a vehicle comprises: a motor module including an electric motor providing a driving force by power approved from the outside; a housing formed on one side to be able to connect the motor module; a pump module including a pump inlet to suck air and a pump outlet to discharge the sucked air wherein the pump module is connected to an other side of the housing; a pump cover connected to the housing to cover the pump module; and a check valve formed in the housing preventing a fluid from reversely flowing in a discharge line to discharge air to the outside of the housing. The check valve comprises: a sheet forming a discharge flow path by being connected to the discharge line; a ball closing the discharge flow path by coming in contact with the sheet; and an elastic member connected to the discharge line to be able to elastically press the ball to the sheet. According to the present invention, the electric vacuum pump reduces noise and weight; and moreover, the electric vacuum pump improves product reliability and the life of the product. |
