The present invention relates to an apparatus for processing food waste. The apparatus for processing food waste according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a spin-drying unit formed with an accommodation space into which food waste is inserted, and removing moisture by rotating the food waste; a grinding unit installed on a central portion of the spin-drying unit to be rotated, and having a rotary cutter for grinding the food waste inserted into the accommodation space; a conveyor transfer unit installed on a lower end of the spin-drying unit, and transferring the food waste, which is supplied from the spin-drying unit through one end portion thereof, to the other end portion thereof; a compression unit installed on the other end portion of the conveyor transfer unit, and compressing the food waste supplied from the conveyor transfer unit; and a collection unit installed on the other end portion of the conveyor transfer unit, and collecting the food waste supplied through the compression unit. |
