A rudder for a ship according to the present invention is manufactured to have an area corresponding to an acceleration section where the flow velocity of a slip stream is increased by a propeller when the propeller rotates, and thus minimizes the rudder area to minimize resistance increase due to the rudder surface area when the ship goes straight, thereby increasing a fuel cost reduction effect and additionally lowering production costs. The rudder for a ship according to the present invention is manufactured to have an area corresponding to an acceleration section where the flow velocity of a slip stream is increased by the propeller when the propeller rotates, and thus minimizes the rudder area, thereby reducing the production costs. |
