Disclosed are a walking stick for a visually impaired user, a mobile terminal, a navigation system including the same, and a recording medium for the same. The navigation system for the visually impaired user provides the walking stick changing the operation status according to the user, a direction guiding service regarding the route to a destination, and guide information according to the operation status of the walking stick. The walking stick detects the displacement made by the movement of the user and transmits the detected displacement to the mobile device. The mobile device provides the guiding service by receiving the information regarding the destination from the user and provides the direction guiding service regarding the destination, comparing the movement displacement of the walking stick received from the walking stick with a predetermined operation range, and detecting the direction pointed by the walking stick according to the movement displacement of the walking stick when the displacement of the walking stick received from the walking stick leaves the predetermined operation range. Accordingly, the present invention can provide the guide information regarding the direction the user wants to be guided with as well as the direction guide service regarding the destination. |
