A pump arrangement, particularly a magnetic clutch pump arrangement, is provided. The pump arrangement includes a containment can with a central longitudinal axis which hermetically seals an enclosed chamber with respect to the inner chamber formed by the pump housing. The containment can has a base with at least one bead extending into the inner chamber. The at least one bead is radially spaced from the central longitudinal axis of the containment shell by at least one defined distance relationship. A method for producing a such containment can for a pump arrangement is also provided. |
