FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to device for plasma transferred wire arc thermal spraying. Wire feed mechanism (20) acts as the first electrode. The outer plasma gas source (15) ensures delivery of plasma gas (16). Interconnected through fluid with plasma gas source (16) and having opening (11) upstream from wire (20) the nozzle (10) is intended to guide jet (12) of plasma gas to free end (21) of wire (20). The second electrode (30) is placed upstream from the nozzle opening (11). The nozzle (10) is made completely or partially of electric insulating material that insulates the nozzle from the first electrode. The electric insulating material is selected out of the group consisting of SiN, AlO, yttrium oxide, ceramic, glass ceramic and SiC.EFFECT: invention allows simple and fast procedure of start-up for the processing device, at that its spraying nozzle has higher strength.10 cl, 9 dwg
