Disclosed is an antibody that binds specifically to B7RP1 wherein the antibody, or an antigen-binding or an immunologically functional immunoglobulin fragment thereof, comprises a light chain comprising a CDR1 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 18 (RASQSVSSYLA) and a light chain comprising a CDR2 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 19 (DASNRAT), the antibody or the fragment thereof further comprising: (a) a heavy chain CDR1 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 30 (SYGMH), a heavy chain CDR2 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 31 (VIWYDGSKKYYADSVEG), a heavy chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 32 (DLNIMVWGIFDY), and a light chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 20 (QQRNNWPWT); or (b) a heavy chain CDR1 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 35 (SYAMH), a heavy chain CDR2 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 36 (AIGTGGGTYYADSVKG), a heavy chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 37 (GVPLLWFGEFY), and a light chain CDR3 sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 23 (QQRSNWPALT); wherein the antibody or the fragment thereof inhibits B7RP1 activity. |
