A spiral or helical blade for mixing cement or concrete within a drum or bucket is described. The blade comprises a series of twisted sections or plates (5), each of which include raised ribs or ridges (6), circumferential to the axis of the blade, which maintain the rigidity of the non-planar plates and prevent warping or springback. Optionally, the blade includes radial ribs perpendicular to the circumferential ribs. |
