摘要 According to the present invention, disclosed is a power saving system which reduces the amount of alternating current electricity used by improving efficiency and current waveform of alternating current electricity used in a house or office. The power saving system of the present invention includes: a plug type power saving device which improves the current waveform of the alternating current electricity to be in the form of a sine wave by filtering the alternating current electricity to suppress noise generation of the alternating current electricity supplied from a distribution board, and reduces phase difference between a voltage of the alternating current electricity and the current thereof, and thus, reduces the amount of the alternating current electricity used by improving efficiency of the alternating current electricity, and senses an over current at a line supplied with the alternating current electricity or interruption of the supply of the alternating current electricity; and a server which receives generation of the over current and interruption of the supply of the alternating current electricity from the plug type power saving device. Accordingly, the power saving system can save electric charges by increasing the efficiency of the alternating current electricity used in the house or the office and stabilizing the voltage and the current thereof. Also, the power saving system can extend life span of all kinds of electronic and electric products by preventing an abnormal current like the over current, and can minimize power loss due to the abnormal current. In addition, the power saving system can cope with a safety problem rapidly even when the safety problem occurs in a facility using electricity (alternating current electricity) during the absence of a manager, so damage and loss of property can be minimized, and physical or time expense spent in installing a separate fire detection equipment or making a manager reside in a facility can be reduced.
