The present invention relates to a remote power control device and a CCTV system using the same which controls power of a security device having a CCTV located in a remote place. The remote power control device and the CCTV system using the same comprises: a power measuring unit to monitor an amount of used power of the CCTV by measuring the amount of used power of the CCTV; a control unit to determine whether the CCTV is abnormal by a difference between the monitored amount of used power and a preset amount of used power, and transferring an abnormal signal of the CCTV to a control center through a communication unit if the abnormal signal is generated; and a power control unit to turn on or off power inputted to the CCTV by receiving a CCTV reset command from the control center. |
