The invention provides an electronic calculator with a checking function advantaged by being excellent in operability and convenience. The electronic calculator comprises an ordinary operation selection unit used for switching to an ordinary operation mode, a calculation selection unit used for switching to a calculation mode, an input unit used for inputting the ordinary operation mode or the calculation mode, an operation unit used for executing ordinary operation or calculation in accordance with input results of operation-type data inputted by the input unit, a storage unit used for storage of operation-type data and making use of ordinary operation results or operation results executed by the operation unit, a comparison unit, an ordinary operation display unit used for displaying operation-type data and ordinary operation, and a calculation display unit used for displaying operation-type data, calculation results and the differences among ordinary operation results and calculation results. The comparison unit is used for comparing ordinary operation results and calculation results and calculating differences among ordinary operation results and calculation results when ordinary operation results are stored by the storage unit and checking calculation is executed by the operation unit based on the mode of check calculation. |
