<p>The invention relates to a process and an apparatus for moving on water using human propulsion, the apparatus moving forward by rolling on the water surface, being intended for amusement, for training in sports, as exercise for weight loss, in tourism and even for transportation on water. According to the invention, the process allows the motion on the water surface by two users' walking inside two coupled drums, where the users walk in a normal vertical position without being closed in a tight medium, the motion of the apparatus taking place by the two drums rolling onto the water surface, at a speed desired by the user, the rolling motion being generated by the change of the load centre of the drum-user assembly, due to user's walking. The apparatus for carrying up the process, as claimed by the invention, consists of two drums (1) connected by a coupling device (8), with a user walking in each of the said drums (1), the apparatus being foldable, made of the two inflatable drums (1) which are stiffened by means of a radial system (2) of rods and a cross system (7) of rods, where, for walking users' hand rest, a U-shaped axle (3) being provided, fixed to the radial system (2) of rods by means of two bearings (4), at the axle ends there being some grooves intended for the coupling between the axles (3) of the two drums (1), using a coupling device (8), with some transverse blades (6) on the water-contact part, with a view to eliminating the water-gliding trend of the drums (1).</p> |
