The invention relates to a phytotherapeutic preparation with antioxidant properties and to a process for preparing the same. The claimed product comprises 1...3 parts of powder of Xanthium spinosum and Fraxinus excelsior and Origanum vulgare, respectively, 0.1...0.9 parts of hydroalcoholic extract of Origanum vulgare and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The claimed process consists in homogenizing the active principles together with the excipients in a granulator, for 25...35 min, adding then the hydroalcoholic extract at a temperature of 42°C, resulting in a dry granulated mixture which is conditioned as hard gelatin capsules.
